You are missing the point.

Pt&Fig systems works very well if you write them to do so.
Means:

1)No close or market orders.
2) ONLY use stop orders that must be placed for the next bars boxsize *
revsize above or below the low /hight of the last Pt&Fig completed bar.
Then, the price announced in the performance summary is exact and matches the
real world, inraday gap excepted in some cases.

Of course, using on close , at  market , buy at h stop and the like have no
meaning.
