Bill Williams likes to say that technical analysis doesn't work and then
talks about chaos and fractals as the way the markets move. When you look at
his chaotic, fractal, "non-technical" indicators, you see that he has taken
existing ideas and just renamed them. You can easily create all of his
indicators in TS. And you don't need a Cray super-computer and hundreds of
thousands of dollars to figure it out, like he claims he did.
The bulk of his ideas are based on the following:
His fractals are just swing points of strength 2 (Tom DeMark would call them
TD 2 Points)
His awesome oscillator (AO) and Accelerator (Acc) is just a 5,34, 5 MACD
split into 2 indicators. I think he took the idea for these parameters from
Tom Joseph, who uses a 5,35 value.
His alligator lines are 8/5, 13/8, and 21/13 displaced, smoothed moving
averages.
As you can see, he also likes Fibonacci numbers as well.
He has some interesting ideas. The problem is, he tries to represent that
they are special indicators that no one else has, then charges exorbitant
fees for training classes and unnecessary software. All of his software can
easily be represented in simple indicators in TS.

| This is stuff from Bill Williams. I took his trading
| tutorial and course.
| In my opinion it was $5000 down the drain. From what I know
| and have heard
| about this software, I have no reason to have a different
| opinion about it.
| Save your money for something useful, or if you want to blow
| it, just go
| have some fun - its summer!
