Trading contests use real money and the risk is higher than normal trading, because winning the contest is more important than not
going broke.

In normal trading, making money and not going broke is everything. However in a contest, winning the contest is so much more
important than not losing the $10,000. Greater risks are taken, than would be normally prudent. Here is where one should trade
using Optimal F.

Larry Williams has tried to be a CTA managing other people money, but shut it down.

Winning contests and managing money are two different skills.

Subject: Larry Williams as a Trader...

One of my friends lowned me his Money Tree video tapes... Larry goes on and
on... But my real question is has he ever truely made good money trading..
They spout this that he turned $10,000.00 into a Million in a trading
contest.. But there is not any true risk in a trading contest.. So of
course I can bet the fictional farm..... But has he really made any money
as a trader..
