Win31 boots from DOS so the first issue is whether or not you can boot DOS from
your hard drive. If you can not boot DOS, I would try booting from floppy and do
"SYS C:" to transfer a fresh copy of the DOS boot files and loader to the hard
drive. If that doesn't do it, then you have a CMOS setup or hardware problem. If
you can boot to DOS but can't load Win31, then you have a corrupted Win31. You
should restore the boot directory and Win31 directories from your backup. If you
don't have a backup, then you'll need to reinstall Win31.
