Solution A:
1. Boot from a floppy
2. from A:> you type sys c:
this will re-install the DOS system files
3. remove the boot disk from a:
3. restart the computer
If the above didn't solve your problem, you need to perform the following :
1. Boot from a floppy
2. from A:> you type fdisk
choose selection 4 and look at the first partition ( c: )
the status position should be A ( from active )
a. If status isn't active, you are not able to boot from this drive
In this case you need to perform selection 2. and make your C: drive
the active
drive.
b. if status is A you probably have a boot virus on your system
you need to boot from a floppy disk and start a virus detector
program from a
clean diskette.
3. remove the boot disk from a:
3. restart the computer
