Hello,
I want to publically thank the people who responded to my query (am I
sounding a little like the Ladies Man on SNL, never mind) concerning managing
my data files. I got alot of info I could actually use and some that went over
my head. All of it was appreciated. The reason I have continued to lurk on the
Omega List, even though
I have rarely had any input to the list, is because it became obvious early on
that there were many people on the list who had much to offer and freely gave.
I have frequently benifited from the disscusions on line.
I have seen the frequent pummeling of Omega and I gather that much of it is
warranted, especially for those who are deeply into the more complicated
aspects of the software, but Kevin Fortner of Omega Research Customer Support
has my Kudos. He e-mailed my a 3 page unsolicited response "We heard about
your plight via the Omega List, and wanted to make sure that you received the
proper advice for both reducing the size of the data file and moving
TradeStation to a new drive", which details in 1,2, 3..... format how to
accomplish what I need to do.
