In regedit exe, search
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon
If necessary create the following keys:
DefaultDomainName
DefaultUserName
DefaultPassword
AutoAdminLogon
Set DefaultPassword to your password and AutoAdminLogon to 1. After rebooting it should work.

Richard -
NT has an "autoboot" feature which may handle this matter for you. It
requires an appropriate entry in the registry.
I've never gotten this feature to work for me, but I have an older
machine and also I've never installed NT service packs 2 or 3. You may
wish to try it out.
