I echo your sentiments Ron. I started with a 486-33,8mm ram, 200mm Hard
Drive and Windows 3.1,using TS 3.5. My PC used to crash all the time until I
upgraded the same machine to a newer motherboard ,an AMD 486-DX120 chip and
a 850mm drive using Windows95.It did not crash nearly as much but still ran
slow for my taste.I upgraded it again with a new board capable of running a
P200 chip,128mm ram and a 4gig drive. At the end of every week I "clean up"
the computer, using Norton Disk Doctor and Speed Disk ( I do not have
Windows open this program every time I start up the pc because it slows you
down too much). My pc almost never has any problems and generally never
crashes. I have gone on holiday for a month and left it running and it did
not miss a tick. That said, if you have the money buy the fastest chipset
,the largest hard drive and most memory you can afford. It will save you
money in the long run because this program beats the **** out of a pc.
