Pierre:

If you reread my post carefully, you will see that I was objecting to your
defense of Omega, implying that if the customers didn't precisely follow
the process on the back of the invoice, Omega need not honor with their 30
day gaurantee.

And that filing a complaint with the postal inspector is not something you
do unless you have tried all other reasonable approaches.

I was making no judgement on whether or not the allegations are true. I
hope they are not.

However, before I responded I did call the US Postal Inspection Service and
they confirmed that they have complaints on file against Omega. They
wouldn't say how many.

If it is a few, no big deal, every company has a few disgruntled customers.
But if it is "thousands", that is another matter. I would tend to think
that if it is "thousands", we all would have known about it long before
now. (And so would a lot of class action attorneys).
