Dear Mr. Morge;
The following clip was posted to the Omega List by Janette Perez, Director of
Corporate Relations on 02/04/98:
I would like to again confirm that we will be releasing later this year, on our
web site, a TradeStation 4.0 and SuperCharts 4.0 free update (patch) to address
the year 2000 issue. Due to time constraints relating to the development of
TradeStation 5.0, SuperCharts 5.0, and OptionStation 5.0,
we will be releasing the year 2000 patch after the release of the 5.0
products. We very much appreciate your patience in this regard. As you know,
your feedback is very important to us. Thank you for your continued support.

Tony:
Somehow i think we'll get the 'patch' at $500 a pop when they release
something called version 5.[fill in the blank...]. If anyone else has
heard a public statement that Omega plans to release a patch to fix
*all* versions of its existing software by making them Y2 compliant,
post it here. Maybe I missed it. Maybe Dennis from Omega can answer
publicly?

Dennis:
Thank you for setting the record straight. I had not seen the post on
the Omega page, but someone did speak of it about two minutes after I
posted asking about Omega's intent. And you can call me Tim...
