 Hi Richard -

If you still have no luck after looking in the manual or trying Ron's
suggestions:

I had the same problem with my P-266. I called the tech dept at Omega in
December and they gave me instructions on how to lengthen the time of a
parameter in the CMOS? settings or was it a .bat file ? This gave the
routine more time to find the security code, I think. It worked.

Anyway, they took some time to find someone there who had experience in
this area...evidently the guy who handled this in the past had left. I
told the one who finally helped me to write the solution down in his log
and circulate it around, 'cuz others will probably have the same problem
as
 I, with these faster computers.

 Good Luck,

 Tom Cathey
