I would like to save multiple symbols in ASCII format after the close
each day. In a perfect world this would be an automatic operation. In
a less than perfect world I would have to initiate the action each day
 manually.

I have too many symbols that I want to collect the intraday tick data on
to type in each symbol in the Edit Tick Data Screen of TS4.

Can EL do this or is there a 3rd party program from another vendor that
can do this? I thought that TradeLabs might but at this point I am so
frustrated with TradeLabs that I will save that for a separate post.

 Thanks for any help . . .

What you ask should be easy to do if you are a C programmer.

Omega provides an API for theie server, and you are able to access to the tick
database outside of TradeStation.
A cprogrammer can code you something that will retrieve the considered ticks
from an external portfolio, and for a given number of days.

Same should apply if you want to import tick data from an ASCII files to the
server (I had considered this years ago when reading the API document).

The API Server was for sale less than $200 and needed a non disclosure
agreement.
So , the solution is here and ou only need to find out who will code this for
you if you cannot yourself.
