Jon,
Would you be kind enough to direct me to your sources (web?)of info for
this approach? I'm already contemplating returning to electronic order
entry now that 2nd generation platforms offer more promise & appear a bit
more stable than what I've tried in the past. Interactive Brokers platform
allows access to many electronically-accessed markets and exchanges;
however, I'm unaware of of Price Book access at this time. Who provides
such a service for the small trader?

Michael,
I received most of my info from WWW.CME.com (search under "Globex",
but the latest info came in the form of a visit this last friday to the CME
(kinda like a pilgrimage to Mecca :) ) where I picked up additional
information.
The price book is only available to those posessing a Globex Terminal, which
requires CME membership, Leasing a seat or an Electronic Trading Hours Permit
(ETH Program)(currently only CTAs are eligible for this program) and the
Market book which is currently available for the E-mini now and the Big S&P
soon.
AFAIK, electronic order entry with get you a tie in to Globex(only LeoWeb) but
the books are only availble to those with Globex terminals.
