It seems obvious that the major reason for the discontinuance of TS4 EOD is
that (at the time) there was no credible market competition for a true
system programming language. EOD users were forced to buy TS4 RT or forget
about it. This is called "marketing".
Now, this strategy may come back to bite Omega. As products are introduced
that have the programming power of TS, Omega will choose if they want to
retain the market of EOD traders who need to develop systems. Bring on the
competition!
