VOTE: REMOVE Security

Does anyone using the universal server collect and save the data somehow to
a csv file or some other importable format? I could do it in excell I guess, but
if there is a better way I'd appreciate it! I was thinking that maybe the answer
for me would be to have the universal server running, exporting data to files so
I could import data real time into eod programs that have no security blocks.
Of course I would want them to be Y2000 compliant, which makes me come
to another question. What programs are now Y2000 complaint, eod and have
no security. If I could get the above items accomplished, I could back off the
Omega bashing as some call it, asserting my rights as a client I call it ! This is
a interesting point has anyone noticed? Am I the only Omega Solution Provider
that has complained about Omega? Guess I rely on something else for my income
than the crumbs Omega drops. Where is the support demanding they perform?
Yea! Yea! I got the phone call from Omega explaining that the release of 5.0
was more important than the patches for 4.0. I'm personally looking into other
programs like the vast array of math programs. I have found that numbers is
what I need most not graphics. Discretionary traders need the graphics and
I like them too but I'm not going to be held hostage to get them. I want to own
a program out right that will last me beyond the Y2000, with a security that
has a REAL permanent password or rather no security. Then I will stop
expressing my concern. I didn't include tech support in my wish list, cause its
obvious that the users know more about the products than the producers of
the product in most cases. Mark

PS.... VOTE: to REMOVE security from TradeStation below, it has been held
                      hostage long enough. Set it free its paid its dues. Charge me for
                      excellent manuals that explain in great detail the ability of Easy
                      Language, example the fantastic documentation of the use of the
                      obscure TEXT functions ect. Give me the software, but charge me
                      for the information I need to use the program to the capacity I want.
                      This is what is valuable to me knowledge, information, documentation.
                      THESE are the items I will gladly pay for, not a floppy or CD........
