Are you suggesting this considerable work by those who desired these changes
should just discarded because it is not complete? The orchestrated concerns
of certain Omega customers should be null and void because it does not meet
your standards?

I never said that.
I said that the document is outdated and has serious bugs that I had
previously demonstrated here.
And I do not want to start again.
Please go back to the Omega List archive about the concerned bugs that I have
explained regarding to this outdated document.

I'm sure they too find it annoying when people tell them them to shut up and
go
elsewhere because they would desparately like to see some improvements that
don't seem to be in the offing. Maybe the way you use TS is sufficient for
you
but don't assume it must therefore be a bed of roses for everyone else - it
clearly is not and they have every right to express that as you do to tell
them
to live with it.
>>
My comments were general.
People may chat, and I also can find them annoying when the same topic comes
back 20 times
in a row, when associated with comments that are out of the scope of the
problem.
I never told that TS is bug free. It's *major_bug* free.
Speaking 20 times of the same problem may let believe some other people that
TS is a bug nest.
Don't say the contrary: I have had the p
this list, and was frightened by what he saw...
<<
I appreciate the comments of these so-called bashers plus the contributions
they
often make to the list. I don't always agree with them but the list is
better
than having just a bunch of yes,yes people. I have no problem with the
yes,yes -
that too has its place. I see no gain in censoring this list yet that is the
undertone of many that think some should go elsewhere - are you threateded by
them? Do you hate the truth of some of their comments because it undermines
a pristine image you would like to maintain about Omega.
>>
Your comments are excessive regarding to my intentions.
Omega do not rely on me to maintain such an image.
My opinion are personal, no more, no less.
Seems that *contra-bashing* Omega here is more scandaleous than the prevailing
status.
(snip)
<<
So the only recent issue of meaningful debate between pro and antagonists is
lost to the protagonists. And the response they offer is that the bashers
should leave the list!! A case of "I'll be correct by default providing all
the people that question me are silenced".
If TS is everything you need it to be for you and always does the things
you need in the right way for you, great - I'm pleased and I'm sure Omega
is too - a compliment to their product. But don't tell those that don't
fall into this category that they are bashers and they should leave the
list. My guess is that many of these bashers will still be profitably
trading long after many of their accusers have washed up.
>>
"Leaving the list" was a provocative suggestion. In this sense, it worked
fine!
<<
A puzzle - if TS is so great, why do we anticipate a new release? I put it
to you that even Omega think their product can be improved in spite of the
protagonists defending it - good for Omega, I wish them the best success on
TS 5 and hope for many many good changes.
>>
A new release in not expected to fix the bugs, but to add functionnalities.
TS4 is not the state of art. Close to, maybe.
So, w
year 2000 , but to have more
features available
(like SWP features still unavailable, and more other that were also discussed
here).
I do not see any inconvenient that bashing takes place here.
But not too much, or not too much without expecting some reactions from people
like me, when they are prtesented without of a minimum of diplomacy.
Otherwise, this has more to deal with paranoia than with technical analysis.
