U are on the right track. Applied math like physics can be used successfully.. for example the Nobel Prize was give to Black Scholls Option model...which in reality is a heat dispersion formula from physics... the end of true economic or market is physics cuz of one reason only scarcity and economics is the study of mass behavior and scarcity and its elegant functions can be derived from physics..where economics end physics begin.
