Harry, from time to time I do it in the same manner, you do. (I'm talking about deleting data  here!)

Sometimes I'm afraid I'm doing it wrong that way.
 (it never happened, anyway!).
Because, I've still in my mind a sentence that when you want to manipulate data you must do this within The Downloader.

So I thought I write it down the way I learned it.

Regards,
Kees.

Lionel:

I read your request, and Kees' response. Perhaps I have been doing it
"wrong" all these years. I just go to Windows Explorer and delete
whatever MS data folder I want to remove, OR if I want to just delete
all the stocks in the folder, I open MS, open the folder in question,
select all the stocks, and just Delete them.

This has worked (so far) on both my 8.01 and 10.1.
