If want a line plot of the close AND you haven't made additional
changes to individual charts (e.g. have an x period moving average on
one and not some others, drew trend lines on some, etc.) that you wish
to keep, then you can right click on the price plot and select
properties then line as the style, make any other changes that you want
to have across all charts when you open them for the first time.. Save
as the Default template.

To eliminate the bar style from all the charts that you have already
opened(they won't change even when there is a change of default
template), delete all the Smart Charts. You can do this by searching
for all Files and Folders with the search criterion "*.MWS" (don't use
the "". )

When the search stops, having given due consideration that what you are
about to do is a Big Deal, delete all the found files. (If you don't
empty the recycle bin you should be able to restore them. It's better
not to have to go there.)

If want to have any other plot be the plot that is seen initially
every first time you open a chart, create that plot as an indicator,
drop it on the chart in the same window as the price plot and make the
traditional price plot thbe same color as the background. Save as the
Default template. Remove all the Smart Charts as a bove, having given
careful and due considertion to the consequences.
