Unless you have several months, say about 3+, and nothing else to do except
to work on this paper, I would suggest that you change the subject to a
discussion of either Metastock or Amibroker. My recommendation is to write
on Metastock.

It is easier to get started on Metastock than on Amibroker. Metastock uses
built in functions that can be strung together to create new functions.
While Amibroker does have built in functions it also has a powerful
programming language that simply take some learning time. It is also a
larger and more complicated program than Metastock.

There are only a few books on Metastock:

"Discover The Power Of Metastock" published by Paritech, Equis may have it
too..

"Metastock Made Easy" might be available at ebay.com

Try doing a search on the internet, there may be others available.

Lastly you should have access to a data service otherwise you will not be
able to understand and use Metastock.

If you want to discuss this further, write me directly.

Thank you for your response, believe me that first what I ussually do
when I post on some forum or newsletter, I use search option.
I did it here, before I posted. I found some answers but they are not
pretty constructive, and what they ussually say ist that those
programmes are rather the same and "making money" on the stock depends
on your skills not on the programme you use. It is not kinf of answer
I was looking for. I would be really greatful if someone could tell me
which features should I compare in those programmes even if they work
the same in both programmes. As I said before I am newbie in this
field so when I read 500 pages manual I am reallu confused and it is
hard to say for me what is really important. Thank you in advance for
your help guys.
