You should note that there is another profitable advantage to Yahoo! data.
It turns out that Yahoo! has 2 quote servers:
1. Historical quotes
2. Current quotes - aged 20 minutes
the historical quote server supplies historical data up to yesterday's
close of the market.
The Current server supplies data for the current trading day - aged 20
minutes. OHLC prices are supplied as if they were EOD EXCEPT the
market has not closed yet.
I have found that downloading data near the close of the current
trading day allows me to see buy/sell signals on my EOD system and act
on them before the market closes - rather than getting data after
the markets close then piling on the at the next mornings open with
the 'greasy masses'.
