Ashish,
Can you give some idea of what short term mechanical
setup you were using, than it may be possible to
discuss further.

Hi all,
I am doing mechanical system trading for past 1.5
years. I have got stuck this time in volatile market
conditions, because my systems were catering more
towards shorter time frames. After realizing my
mistake, i have started researching again whereby i
have infused longer term time frames into the overall
trading.
But now the problem is that i the different time
frames in which i m working are not providing hedge to
each other. secondly, I am not able to understand
which other trend following systems/concepts, apart
from moving average, should i be looking at.
this is just the tip of the problem. i wud like to
discuss more but with people from the same arena.
if there are people who can help me out, i wud be
thankful to them.
