Hi to everyone, especially Roy, the only person I "know" here. How are
you, Roy? Hope all is well in NZ.
I need help writing an exploration. As I understand Momentum in
MetaStock, the horizontal line designated 100 represents time and the
vertical lines represent speed. It appears that each stock has it's
own momentum; it's very relative to the stock. It also appears that
when the price of a stock crosses it's own 100 line that it often
takes off.
I've been trying to write an exploration that would capture the day or
week that the price of the stock closes above it's 100 line. The
exploration must reference the entire history of the stock from day
one to the most recent date. The last point is critical.
Can someone help me sort this out? I've tried using various
combinations of mov, mo, and 100*, close, cross, but so far nothing
has worked. I've also emailed MetaStock twice for help but it's been
more than a week and no one has responded; I give up.
Thanks for helping.
Shelley
