Hi Alwin:
         The first condition is REF(H,-1)<=O
The second one is REF(L,-1)>=O  
I don't understant what you means with "select", anyway...
You can make an Explorer:

ColA:
====
REF(H,-1)<=O

ColB:
====
REF(L,-1)>=O

Filter:
======
ColA<>0 or ColB<>0

  I am looking for Metastock formula for:-
   
  1)Select stock if yesterday high is  equal or lower to today's opening.
   
  2) Select stock if yesterday low  is equal or higher to today's opening.
