When you have formula definitions for inside and outside bars (you might not want to use the MS Inside() and Outside functions) you can use these to set up Highlights in an expert. When the relevant highlight formula returns a TRUE the price bars will plot in the colour of your choice. If you're currently using a password protected expert as part of your default template you will have a problem adding such highlights. However, if you can modify an existing expert or create your own then it's an easy step from there to creating a new default template so that all new smart charts open with your selected colours on inside and outside bars.
