I don't agree there I'm afraid. When people are motivated and
trained they often turn out to do an excellent job, contradicting
anything a psychometric test may have predicted.
Nobody is limited by the tiny set of assessments taken by a 10
minute session if they don't want to be.
I'm not sure what industry you work in (or did work in if you now
trade full time), but surely you must have seen it so many times:
the 'ideal' candidate for a job who's psychometrically suited and
perfectly qualified for the job makes a total mess of it and the
unqualified, psychometrically unsuited biff turns out to be a star.
That's because a 10 minute assessment in a 'false' situation (i.e. a
situation in which one would never work in reality - one's job
rarely emtails answering 50 multiple choice questions every day) is
a poor indicator of anything.
