Up until I didn't have a formula that was
test-able. I could find what I was looking for with the explorer and it came
with 50 extra hits of garbage.
As for Roy's Trade Equity formula I would have to
say I don't understand how they are used.
I wasn't aware of Trade-sim and it looks expensive.
I have found the one pattern I want to trade and have finally put together
some code that helps me find clean signals thanks to everyone's help and
really just wanted to experiment with drawdowns and length of time in
trade.

Martin, I don't understand it either. I mean, why would
Roy give away his Trade Equity set of powerful, bug- free, real-time
backtesting tools, for free? It just doesn't seem very smart, and it
probably means that his best work goes unappreciated... http://www.metastocktips.co.nz/te_formulas.html
Of
course, if you want to try the best commercial backtesting product for
MetaStock, there is always TradeSim: http://www.compuvision.com.au/index.htm
