Jose, seeing as you have taken to not only stretching the truth about me but
outright lying, I will set the record straight.
Jose writes:
<<By his own admission, Mr Brewster was an employee of Boeing in the 60's,
being in charge of some software projects there with a team of software
programmers under his control. Time and time again, as he pointed out on
several lengthy emails to me, he claims that he had a major battle
controlling these "brilliant but unruly" programmers, a war which he says he
eventually won.>>
I spent 25 years in the Boeing computing department (BCS) beginning in the
1960's - programming and eventually supervising programmers leaving in
1989 - not 1960. I never battled with programmers (nor did I indicate to
Jose that I did) but I did find that many, though not all, became so
enamored with their code that they neither documented nor allowed others to
understand it until Boeing and all major computer companies came up with
design, testing, and documentation standards. Many, but many brilliant
programmers simply could not live under these conditions - imposed by
Boeing - not by me, and left.
<<However, in a constant barrage of mails from him, it was obvious to me
that his disdain for programmers was more than evident.>>
I have never expressed a disdain for programmers, only pointed out to you
that several could not live in a world that required step by step design,
coding, and testing standards, as required by all major corporations today.
Jose, by your own admission the documentation of your "MACDH Kit" is
seriously lacking. In fact, you wrote to me that if you properly documented
it you would have to sell it for a far higher price and you would not be
able to keep up with demand.
<<Now, 40 years later, Mr Brewster still carries the scars from those past
battles, and seems to have an irrational hatred for anyone he
perceives as being of the same genre as his former "adversaries".>>
It's only 16 years Jose. Scars??? Just a recognition that brilliance does
not necessarily equal the ability to seek out errors within one's own work.
And I have never questioned either you brilliance, or your support of the
MetaStock community.
<<intermixed with racist ravings about the Chinese taking over the world.>>
A total lie. I used a quotation from a source I identified as raciest AFTER
Jose complained that the Chinese were attempting to take over Australia. I
have met Chinese in Korea, visited them in various parts of China, and have
nothing but admiration for them and their entrepreneurial abilities. If it
frightens you Jose, that's not my problem.
<<With time it became clear to me than that Mr Brewster had a specific
agenda, and that it had little or nothing to do with my software or
services, but more with his gripe over his imaginary enemies.
Finally, when Mr Brewster resorted to spamming my public email box with 20Mb
attachments of irrelevant material, it was time to put my
foot down. I asked him politely to stop, but he replied that he would go
ahead and smear my good name all over the Net. I had no choice but to block
his email address.>>
Again, lots of lies Jose. The "SPAM" Jose is referring to is my
documentation of errors that exist in the MACDH Kit. They are still there
Jose, and I can still document them if you would but look at them.
<< As for his current claims that I fail to support my clients, that my
software is full of errors, and any other malicious accusations, my
record speaks for myself.>>
It certainly does Jose. The errors continue to spew from your plug-in.
These are not malicious accusations, but facts.
<< My reputation for being thorough and accurate with MetaStock code rivals
that of Roy.
Additionally, I spend close to 20hrs of my time each week providing free
support to several forums and usergroups, compiling and providing free
useful data and formulae at MetaStockTools.com, and offering free support
and advice to all my clients without question.
On reflection, the amazing thing about this saga is that with over 400
satisfied clients since 1999, I have only ever encountered two
trouble-makers. This speaks very highly of our trading community, and I
wouldn't be happier spending all my time and energy anywhere else.>>
I have NEVER questioned your abilities with MetaStock nor your free support.
You are indeed THE MetaStock savant with a much better understanding MS than
the Equis technicians. However, that does not correct the problems in your
"kit." Your ability to divert attention from problems with your Kit is as
rampant here as in your emails to me.
Many people do not totally understand diversion and perhaps they do not
investigate the errors in your code to the extent that I do. If that makes
me a troublemaker then that's what I am. If you view users with legitimate
questions about errors in your system, then I am more than happy to be, as
you put it, a troublemaker.
By the way, Walter Bressert's plug-in gives much better signals than the
MACDH Kit and is half the price (which drove Jose off the deep end when I
mentioned it to him).
When it comes to Jose's MACDH Kit, my suggestion is for the buyer to beware.
It has errors and once you question those errors you get the vindictive that
I have quoted above. You can save a lot of bucks by entering the MACD
Historgram formula into MetaStock and eyeballing diversion for yourself.

The MACD Histogram Formula (the one Jose refuses to give to his clients):
( Mov( C,12,E ) - Mov( C,26,E ) ) - Mov( ( Mov( C,12,E ) - Mov(
C,26,E ) ),9,E )
