Hello All,
I am using Percentage Volume Oscillator cross over
with an exponential moving average to check if there
is a surge in volume (Similarly, I am using stoch
oscillator cross over with a moving average for if the
price trend has changed or not). I am new to Technical
Analysis - is this the right tool to use for verifying
surge in volume? If so, I was intending to use 15(%k),
36 (slowing factor) with 9 (%d) for the cross over. Is
this too conservative?
On the web, I have seen people use
(12,26,9)
(14,28,9)
(5,20,9)
I am a short-term investor/trader. If this is the
wrong forum to discuss - my apologies.
