For Mr. Issen: 
Probably the best place where this approach is discussed is "Stocks & 
Commidities" Magazine, issue February 2004. Sorry, no Metastock code. 
I have done a simple web-search and found a few Add-Ins for Metastock 
(not free obviously). I am by no means expert on this approach, but 
would be interested to combine it with - believe it or not - specific 
time-space cycles.
