Hanks very much Jay, funny that’s
exactly my scenario too! I’ll give it a shot.

Cheers,  Mike

During completion of a PC transfer
I'm interested if the MS favourites data can be imported/exported somehow. I
have a lot of nested folders and charts in the favourites section. I located a
file 'favourites.dta' in the Metastock folder which I copied but appears to not
be the one... <span

(might save me a lengthy manual task if
the favourites can be copied!)<font size=2 color=black

Does anyone know if this is possible?<font

I've you've got Windows XP - use
Files and Settings Transfer Wizard (under Accessories, System
Tools).  It works like a champ for transferring the entire program from
one computer to another.  I used it in transferring from a Win Me machine
to an XP machine.  The Me machine didn't have this, but the XP machine
created a program that ran on Me and captured MS program and several
others.<span
