[Metastockusers] Problem with a "missed Sell Signal"

I am in the process of automating my trading signals to actually make 
trades with my broker.

I am using Hyper Trader with MetaStock. My problem, is I have 4 
signals. Go Long, Exit Long, Go short and Exit Short. 

Sometimes, my system goes from Go Long and then goes directly to Go 
Short (bypassing Exit Long). Now HyperTrader does not know what to 
do. Meaning, on a real life example, it sold short and did not take 
an Exit Long, because it was never given.

What I really want to happen, is if MetaStock placed a Go Long then a 
Go short, I really want to Short 2 contracts.

What is best way to handle this, based on automating a signal entry?
