Hi Harry
There's been quite a few posts since I asked the question. I've answered a few with my own new-found
knowledge (just like a newbie).
One area where I'm still having a problem is with the date selection - it just doesn't work for me.
I always have to revert to number of bars. This is not a big deal because I've used a date filter
with all systems for yonks, and it does what the date selection should do but won't. I think my
problem is caused by some issues having less data than the period I want to span. I haven't got
annoyed enough with it yet to go find the reason, but I will sooner or later.
Another issue that's been bugging me is the inability to optimise code in the "Limit or Stop Price"
field. I'm working on a solution to this that moves code optimisation outside of the system tester
while still using the Opt values generated within the tester. I've hit a snag but hope to find a way
around that in the next day or so.
Regards
Roy
