I switched out of Schwab to Ameritrade and have been satisfied with
them. They charge a flat rate for any number of shares. Also
interesting is that you can place a trade through the telephone lines
or by wireless cell phone while you are on the road.. or away from
your computer at home, should you need to.
Nowadays I trade EOD only. Place the orders before going in to work
based on Metastock /trading systems and looking at TC2000.
