Highlighting does not mean that you right click
it.
Assume that you have two plots in your window.
One is the base security, and the other the second security which you want to
analyse as RS. When you drag the indicator, by default, the base security will
be highlighted. The colour of the plot will turn pink, which tells you that the
indicator will be using the values of the basic security.
So if you plot that straightaway, the math you
are doing is close of the security/plot.
Which is again the base security. So the C/P will be 1, because you are dividing
the close by itself.
If you drag the indicator over the second
security, that will turn pink. This way, you are selecting the plot as the
second security. Then the math will divide the close of the base
security, by the second security which is the plot.
