This smartdownloader was being used by me quite some time back. I really do
not remember what was suggested by them. All I remember that it was some default
key in the registry.
Unfortunately, when my problem was solved, I trashed their mail.
Now I do not use the smartdownloader at all. Maybe if the person can
contact me privately, I could assist him/her.

Have written to MS/Equis support many times and
have always received an answer within 24 hours on business days. They
have a new (within the last year) policy that requires that you send them your
Equis customer number. Don't know what they do to questions without
it.
