Hi Anthony
> 2. On this subject on selected plot on a chart, am I correct to say that one can do a
"right-hand side plot" without plotting all over the chart, by using lastvalue() (or similar
functions) to catch the last occurence of the trigger signal;
ValueWhen(1, signal to trigger plot , signal to plot) is a good starting point. There are a number
of variations depending on the nature and timing of what you want. The right side of any plot can
also be truncated by using a "shift right/shift left" routine. Ref(Ref(x,-y),+y) .

specified. We can't get a line (plot) to show and then not show intermittently, across the chart,
can we?
Not as a general rule with the standard formula language. There may be some exceptions but coding
would be clumsy and the result of several seperate plots rather than one interupted plot.
