I was thinking of convenience. If you create a
link in a spreadsheet from MS, you can scroll thru the securities and (I think)
the spreadsheet will automatically register the new data. But you cannot create
a reverse link in MS.
Yes, you an create as many csv's as you like and
import them in MS. Cumbersome, don't you think?

Dusant, you say, that "MS cannot permit the importing
of data from a spreadsheet as OHLC" but I think it is possible with the
downloader to import OHLC data from a spreadsheet (or a CSV file).So,
it is possible to make the calculations in Excel (for example), import the
results in MS and plot them as a candlestick chart.Don't you think? Am I
wrong somewhere?dragos
