"If any of you think what I'm saying is arrogant—great. You can learn
from arrogant people, especially ones that have been successful.
Arrogant people who have failed can't teach you much except how to be
an arrogant failure. Skip that class!"
JMO, but arrogant people (successful or not) haven't really had what
they think they know put to a serious test: If they had, they
wouldn't be arrogant anymore, but would understand that there's
always someone smarter or luckier and each of us is only one bad
trade away from humility. But that's probably a discussion best left
to another board.
I think you have a lot to contribute here, once you get over
yourself.:) I agree with a lot of what you have to say, I just think
you go out of your way to be unpleasant. If you don't think very
highly of a poster who asks a dopey question because he's too lazy to
read a "Help" pulldown, or if you hate people that you think
are "vultures", allow Darwinism to work its magic and DON'T RESPOND.
If somebody calls you names ("shill"), DON'T RESPOND.
And besides, there are "levels" of help here on the board. Simpler
questions aren't always answered by the most advanced MS users.
Sometimes less advanced users (like me, and lots of other members
here) will field the "easier" questions. Unless the board is allowed
to deteriorate into childish mud-fights which discourage active and
constructive participation.
Luck,
Sebastian
