Its very simple with what you can do with your Metastock:

You do NOT own the software.
You are only licensed to use it.
Therefore Equis can put any restrictions that they want on Metastock 
and they actually own the physical CD itself...just like the credit 
card companies own the actual card you use!

Before you sell any version of your sotware its best you consult 
Equis and get it in writing. They legally have us by the neck, since 
when we install Metastock we agreed to their terms. Unless the law 
changes and forces changes to that "I Agree" feature that is required 
before installing any software, there really is nothing we can object 
to. Unless, anyone has the resources and time to challenge it in 
court thru a class-action suit.
