If you have 8.01 or Pro couldn't you create an indicator that calls the
sp500 using the Security() function, then use the results of the indicator
however you wanted in the system test.
If you have 7.22 or prior EOD then you can use the "P" (same as "INDICATOR")
function to reference the sp500 chart closing prices (open and mark the
chart before running the system test).
If you have 8.0 EOD and can't use either of the above then I have a solution
that is a little more cumbersome but should still work. Contact me directly
if you need this option - it'll take a while to write up the procedure but
I've done it in the past on 7.03 to access all prices of an index, something
that can't be done with "P".
