Thanks for the prompt reply. I had looked at the IsDefined() function, but as I understand it, it only returns a "1" or a "0"; not the value of the underlying formula. So I could not see how to make it useful.
You reference "procedures that already worked in 6.52". Since ver 8 is my first Metastock, I don't know these historical procedures. Could you elaborate, or direct me to where I might find something? I had searched several Metastock forums, as well as lists of formulas (Guppy, etc.) but could never find anything that seemed to fit my needs.
