Hello Foucault,

Many thanks for taking the trouble to attach the RSI article.

Using crossovers of two smoothed RSIs will reduce the liklihood of 
whipsawing. Therefore, the modified RSI signals (as per John Hayden's 
parameters) would be:

Enter Long:    Cross(Mov(RSI(9),10,S),Mov(RSI(45),10,S))
Exit Long:      Cross(Mov(RSI(45),10,S),Mov(RSI(9),10,S))

.........combined with the other indicators, of course....

Do keep us up to date with your progress developing this idea.
