[EquisMetaStock Group] gann technique in metastock

Hi all,
 
I am new in Gann technique and will appreciate for those who can give some guidelines so that we can share knowledge together.
 
1) I use Metastock v8.0 to plot Gann fann. Do I have to change the x and y axis scales? because from my reading it needs 1 to 1 scale to plot gann fan. or I can just plot it straight away.
 
2) how am I going to use the diamond shape square in gann analysis and what is the interpretation for it?
