Uhehs:

I don't mean the be rude or condescending, but I
guarantee this approach will get you slaughtered in the markets.
You can't toss a bunch of indicators together,
paper trade it for a while and expect to make money.  If it was that easy,
everyone would be doing it.

You need to develop a trading idea or hypothesis
(your entry in this case), take it apart and understand it, test the hell
out of it, break it, re-build it and prove to yourself it is valid.
Next, you have to develop a compatible exit to get you out of the
trade.  Finally, you need a money management strategy to tell you how much
to trade and when you are taking on too much risk with your system.  Any
one of these steps could (and probably will) trash your original idea and force
you to start over.

The key it research, research, research.  You
have to read everything you can get your hands on, and test every idea you come
across.

Best of luck.

I wouldn't get too excited about your longs doing well given
that the market has been so strong over the last week.  I
would certainly HOPE they would have worked
out.Did you have any shorts during this time?  If so,
how did they do?My suggestion is rather than just testing a
small period forward using the Explorer, why not go back in time
and test 500 or so prior periods within the system tester?
  This is far more efficient.Pring
