This is my reply to a message re free data at
metastockusers a few days ago re Britefutures.com. britefutures have
ignored my request for info as to maybe why i was unable to
connect----- does anyone have any ideas why it may say " cookies not
enabled etc "
does anyone know another source of free futures
data?
thanks keith
Hi Gregory, I tried to access data at britefutures
as suggested and only got the message
in Explorer " cookies not enabled- must be enabled
for access" or similar
i checked Cookies and they are enabled, then
thought Zonealarm may have stopped it so turned it off and tried again-- no
change
I also sent them an email asking for advice but
didn't get an answer at all.
have you any suggestions what may be wrong
?
thanks keith

Commodity Data
<A
href="">http://www.britefutures.com/home.asp
Click on a commodity.
Click on the contract month.
A chart will load, scroll down to the bottom of
the page.
Click on Download Prices.
Save to a folder because it's a csv format and
needs to be converted by the Metastock Downloader to be read by
Metastock.
It's a slow pain in the behind but
free.
One of the best is <A
href="">http://www.barchart.com/futures.html
20 bucks a month for complete access to their site and eod data e-mailed in
metastocks format.
