Hi,
Can you recommend a data feed, real time for MetaStock other than eSignal? You can only download 50 stocks at a time and that is unacceptable.
would you also tell me the benefits of using a spreadsheet to view the data on a stock. I am just learning and I want to try setting up a spreadsheet then after I do that, I would like to know how to use it.
Thank you.

RA....many thanks. Do you have the Excel formulas to set this up?

Claud,
Qcharts has this facility. Also
its pretty easy to do in Excel.
Attached is small sample for
the S&P 500, using calender days, intermeadiate swings.

But if you want the ultimate
way to measure time, have a look @ Bryce Gilmore's Cycletrader/Wavetrader
programme.
It calculates time ratios in
Fib, Lucas or other important ratios ( i.e Geometric, Harmonic or Arithmatic)
whether in calendar days, solar degrees, Elliott, etc from direct, alternate,
minor, intermeadiate and major multiple wave sets, and helps to determine
which waves are in "rhythm". It also range squares price with time.
The results are "weighted" to
produce and isolate important future dates, and therefore the most likely
potentional time scenarios for a COT.

Jayson....you're absolutely correct. That's exactly what I would like
to do. (e.g. calculate say a 61.8 retracement
from a specified hi/lo date.) The only software that does this that I'm
aware of is Advanced GET. Maybe
it can be calculated in MS.

Hi Claud
Fib is not my thing (little interest and little knowledge) so I don't
know
off the top of my head. There are a number of line-drawing techniques
out
there so I'd say it's quite probable it can be done.
I'm not quite sure what it is you have in mind but I'd be willing to
take a
look if you could manually knock up a chart demonstrating what you
envisage. No promises though. You could send the chart direct to me
if you
want.
Regards
Roy
