I agree with Jay. In their haste to sell boxes, Equis issued
Metastock 8 with a number of annoying, and fairly obvious, bugs.
Support people have assured me that some sort of housecleaning
program resolving the bugs would be released months ago, and I'll bet
if I called tomorrow I'd receive the same assurance. It wouldn't
surprise me that, when they do come out with something, they'll be
charging for a release that corrects bugs in a version that I already
foolishly paid for. If more of us resolved (as I have) not to pay
them another cent until I see more resources go into software
development than marketing, I think we'd see better products.
