[Metastockusers] Help with data files request.

Hello, to all in this group.
I am a new MS8 user, a green beginner at 67 years old and need help.

1. Can I use ASCII file to display a chart in MStock or I have to go 
to downloader and convert it first?  Can I open new security data 
pane and paste .XLS file in it?

2. I have several plug-in files with extension .rar.  How to 
use/import them in Metastock.
