When I tried to do this, all the curves indicated that the were part of the same indicator. I couldn't select the individual curves to change the color and style.

If you place your mouse over the merged indicators, it may list only one of them. When this happens, right click on the merged lines (2 or more) and MS will give you a choice of which line to select. Left click on the one in the list that you want. Then you can go to the bottom of the chart and select the color, line style, etc. that you want.
